An 1870s grocery shop in Príncipe Real. Candlelit in the evening, with original tiles and a wooden bar. Intimate by design.

O Palmeiral is a small house — that's the point. There's no private room separated from the restaurant by a partition wall. When you book the space, you book the whole thing. The bar is yours. The music is yours. The evening is yours.
How It Works
Get in touch and tell us what you're thinking. The date, the number of guests, the occasion, any dietary requirements, how long you want to stay, and what kind of evening you're after — loud and celebratory, or quiet and long. We'll come back to you with a menu proposal and a price.
Menus typically run three to four courses with wine pairing, but we're flexible. If you want a cocktail reception on the terrace before sitting down to eat, we can do that. If you want to skip starters and go straight to the pork chop, we can do that too. The kitchen is small but nimble.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies — let us know when you book and we'll build the menu around your group's needs.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can, especially for weekends and the Christmas period. We can sometimes accommodate shorter notice — call us and ask.
